This site is dedicated to Sharlene Marie Slater who sadly passes away on the 8th April 2008 age 22. Sharlene dedicated her life to her job which was teaching young children in schools gym.
Sharlene lived with her mam and dad Sharon and Steve, she has 2 sisters Sheryl and Candice, and a brother Mark and a lovely nephew Liam and his sister Megan.
Anyone who met Sharlene will no that she was an amazing person and a special friend to many.
Sadly Sharlene lost her fight against cancer after 7years. Sharlene was a fighter and she fought her illness right till the end.
Sharlene you will be sadly missed by loads but you will never ever be forgotten.

Time passes by so quickly but you remain very much in our hearts and thoughts, three year on and it still doesnt seem real that you are no longer with us.
I often wonder what you would have thought of Lauren now,as you know how much she loves and misses you, we look at photos of when you were coaching her and i wish with all my heart she could see you now.
You were and always will be an important part of our daughter Lauren and our lives.

Miss you
hey big sis long time since i sent you a message on hear but that doesnt mean i have not been thinking about you. Its coming up to 3years since you left us now and it just does not get any easier. For some reason it get to me worse when am in the car as you will know, so many times am walking into work with red blood shot eyes and a snuffely nose. I just wish i could have you back hear with us. You have been in my dreams soooo much recently and i just hate waking up from them to realise it was just a dream and your not hear. You were such a good friend to me never mind an amazing sister and i can never thank you enough for that. The words you use to tell me on your bed never leave my heart as they ment sooo much to me and a wish a told you how i felt back, but me been in my little bubble never thought the day would come where you would not be in my life forever. I hope you know how much i love and miss you big sis and its more then i could ever tell you. I love you soooooooo much and yu are always in my thoughts.
